CloudwaysHosting for WooCommerce stores and AI-built apps

Managed cloud hosting. You choose the cloud, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, AWS or Google Cloud, and Cloudways runs the server for you: setup, caching, security, backups and updates. I personally recommend it, and I use it for most of my big projects that need stability.

Who it's for

WooCommerce store owners in Egypt and the Gulf who have outgrown shared hosting and don't want to run a server. And vibe coders who build with AI tools and need a solid home for what they made: a WordPress site, a PHP or Laravel app, or a Node.js app such as Next.js or Express.

What it does

WooCommerce stores get built-in caching (Varnish, Redis and Memcached), with the Breeze cache plugin pre-installed.
Free SSL from Let's Encrypt, free staging URLs and automatic backups.
Platform-level firewalls, 24/7 server monitoring and 24/7 live chat support.
PHP apps, Laravel included, install in one click on a regular server.
Node.js apps (Next.js, Remix, Astro, Express and more) deploy from Git on Cloudways Velocity.
They move your first website from any host for free, usually within 1 to 2 business days.
An optional Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, from 4.99 USD per domain a month.

Deploy with Claude Code, Codex and AI agents

If you build with an AI coding agent, Cloudways gives it a real server to work with, and gives you a way back if it gets something wrong.

SSH and SFTP access, so Claude Code or Codex can work on the server from your terminal, the same way it works on your machine.
Git deploys from GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket: the agent pushes, the site updates.
Node.js apps (Next.js, Astro, Express and more) deploy from Git on Cloudways Velocity; PHP and Laravel apps install in one click.
Free staging URLs: let the agent test its changes on a copy before they reach real visitors.
Automatic backups: if a change breaks the site, restore the last good version.
Managed AI Agents: Cloudways also hosts OpenClaw and Hermes agents, from 9.99 USD a month.

Why it suits vibe-coded sites and apps

AI tools write the code fast. They don't run the server for you, and that's where most of the risk is.

Cloudways handles the server setup and updates, so you are not hardening a server you have never touched.
Free SSL on every site, platform-level firewalls and 24/7 server monitoring.
Optional malware protection, from 4 USD per app a month.
When traffic grows, you scale the server up instead of moving hosts.
24/7 live chat support when something goes wrong at night.

Price

Pay as you go, billed by the hour, with no contract. Servers start at 11 USD a month for 2 GB of RAM on DigitalOcean, with a 3-day free trial and no credit card. Cloudways Velocity for Node.js apps starts at 20 USD a month.

Questions

Is Cloudways a good fit for WooCommerce stores in Egypt and the Gulf?

It fits stores that have outgrown shared hosting: caching comes built in for WooCommerce, and you can scale the server up as orders grow. Cloudways lists no data centers in the Middle East, so pick the nearest one, such as Frankfurt or London, and add a CDN for faster pages.

Can I host an app I built with AI tools?

Yes. PHP and Laravel apps install in one click on a regular Cloudways server. Node.js apps such as Next.js, Astro or Express deploy from Git on Cloudways Velocity, which starts at 20 USD a month.

How much does it cost?

Servers start at 11 USD a month, billed by the hour with no contract, and there is a 3-day free trial with no credit card. The optional Cloudflare Enterprise CDN starts at 4.99 USD per domain a month.

Can Claude Code or Codex deploy to Cloudways?

Yes. Cloudways gives you SSH access and Git deploys, so an AI coding agent can push code and run commands on the server from your terminal. Use a staging URL to test its changes first, and keep automatic backups on.

Will they move my current site?

Cloudways moves your first website from any host for free, usually within 1 to 2 business days. WordPress sites can also be moved with their free migrator plugin.
